Wednesday:  The students will continue their practicum experience at the Primary and Intermediate schools.

Thursday:  The students will continue their practicum experience at the Primary and Intermediate schools.

Friday:  Student holiday.

October 12

HG&D Lesson Plans 10/16-20/17

Monday – Students will review theorists and infant development:  Chapter 5, Activity C.  Students will also review vocabulary for Chapter 5.

Tuesday – Students will review concepts in chapter 5:  Review Game.

Wednesday – Students will demonstrate knowledge of Infant Development:  Chapter 5 test.

Thursday – Students will discuss toddlers:  Chapter 6, slides 1-21.

Friday – Student holiday.

October 5

HG&D Lesson Plans 10/9-13/17

Monday:  The students will finish research presentations over SIDS.

Tuesday:  The students will discuss infancy.  Discuss slides 1-20 of Chapter 5.

Wednesday:  The students will continue discussing infancy.  Discuss slides 21-40.

Thursday:  The students will finish infancy discussion.  Finish slides 41-48, Complete Chapter 5, Activity A.

Friday:  The students will review infant development:  Chapter 5, Activity D.

Friday:  The student will debrief from their experiences from the week.

August 24

Human Growth and Development Lesson Plans 8/28/17-9/1/17

Monday:  The students will explain the role of theories in explaining human growth and development.  Student will view and discuss powerpoint and examine Freud and Erikson.  Complete WS  Chapter 2 Activity C on Erikson.

Tuesday:  The students will continue discussion of theories with examining Piaget and Piaget’s stages of cognitive development.  Complete WS Chapter 2 Activity D on Piaget.

Wednesday:  The student will continue discussion of theories.  Powerpoint of Pavlov, Bandura, and traits.

Thursday:  The students will compare the different theorists.  Complete WS chapter 2 Activity B.

Friday:  The student will review theorists.   Complete WS chapter 2 Activity A.
