Online learning for April 6- 10

Principles of Education:  Draw a better classroom layout for our Principles of Education class.  Keep in mind the flow of the students in the room and the activities that we usually do.  List the improvements that you make and why they need to be made.

Human Growth and Development:   Draw a picture of one of your parents.  Note the age group of your parent:  Early Adulthood – Ages 20-39 or Middle Adulthood – Ages 40-65.  Make sure you not some of the common characteristics of people in their age group.  Include things like:  physical characteristics, activity level, cognitive development, moral development.

IPET:  Write an essay in which you answer the following:  What do you miss most about working with your students?  Which age group of students, Primary age, Intermediate age, Middle School age, or High School aged students do you think are having the hardest time dealing with school being closed and social distancing.  Give reasons why it is hardest on the age group that you chose.

*Principles of Education and Human Growth and Development – Keep your drawings and bring them to our first class after school starts again.

Online Learning for March 30-April 3

Principles of Education:  Write an essay explaining the impacts of a pandemic on school systems.  Do you think the actions taken by the US and WOISD are appropriate?

Human Growth and Development:  Write an essay in which you discuss the effects of Corona Virus on the different age groups that we have studied.  Which groups are the most at risk?

IPET:  Write an essay explaining what has been the hardest part of online learning for you as a student?  What do you think is the hardest part for your teachers?
